Do you know what a ‘porch pirate’ is?

If you guessed someone who takes parcels that have been left unattended by delivery drivers on doorsteps, you would be correct!

With the nights drawing in and the festive season approaching, we want to offer a few tips to avoid someone targeting your home.

• Try to arrange deliveries for a time when you will be in
• Use a company that will deliver your goods to a store or secure pick-up point instead of your house
• Track your parcels so you know when they get delivered
• Ensure your parcels are delivered to a trusted friend or neighbour if you know you won’t be in
• Install a video doorbell to notify you of any unplanned deliveries
